All sites have rules, ours is no different. Please do your best to follow all of these rules.[/b] You must have a character created and accepted before you can post on this site. There is a character creation board on which you may create a character. After that, you have to wait for your character to be accepted by one of the admins. You will receive a PM when your character has been accepted. If you see anybody RPing without an accepted character, please alert the administrators immediately.
2) You may only have one character per account. Multiple accounts are allowed, but to prevent inactive members, one person is only allowed to have 5. You must post a first name in your applications so that we know you haven't exceeded your limit. Please realize that we only do this so that you don't get one of your accounts deleted, and this applies to everyone, admins included.
3) For the drama of it all, curse words have been unlocked. However, we ask that you please do your best to keep cursing to a minimum. It's OK to swear over large things like getting wounded. Things like, "Oh shit, I can't get this door open," will result in deleting of posts. There will be no warnings, nobody will ask you to modify your post. We will simply go in and delete it.
4) There is no God-modding. You are able to control only your own character. If you have another character on the same thread that is your character, you may control them. If you are in a fight and you hit someone, unless it is your own character, you may not describe what happens to them. Instead, you must wait for the person you hit to reply. It is up to them to decide whether or not they were struck. Please, if you are on the receiving end of the blow, make it realistic. Slayers and vampires may have fast reflexes, but even Buffy got hit.
5) We are trying to keep this on real time. This means that you cannot get sent to the hospital and then re-emerge a few seconds later. Slayers may be able to heal fast, but they cannot heal from serious injuries in a matter of seconds. Also, if you are RPing from school and there are others involved, you can't go from first period to the end of the school day without at least 5 posts. Try and keep it realistic.
6) Sexual content of any kind will be deleted. You are allowed to kiss or make out with another member, but anything beyond that is strictly forbidden. There may be younger members on this site who aren't mature enough to handle sex yet. This also means that no-one can get raped. If any female characters get into a compromising situation, they must be able to get themselves out. One mention of sex in your posts will get you banned for a week.
7) Listen to the admins. They have been selected because the owner/creator of this site has deemed them trustworthy. If they tell you to do something, you must be respectful and listen. They do have the power to ban members, so if you get cheeky witha single one of them, you might just find yourself unable to log on the next day.
8) There are separate boards for people to be out of character. If you are on an RP board, you must be in character at all times. If you do decide to talk to one another, it must be a minimum 2 lines, and you have to post an OOC in front of it.
9) As of now, one-liners are BANNED. We want you to improve as role-players, so you must have at least one full line of text. Your posts will be deleted unless they meet this requirement. Even if you only have to talk to someone, go into depth. What does your character's face look like? What thoughts are going through their head as they're speaking? Be descriptive. It won't kill you.
10) Signatures and avatars are no longer a requirement, but it would help if you had them. If your character is a human, please use a celebrity, not a random stock photo, so you can claim that person. We don't want two people running around with the same celebrity. If your character isn't human, find a decent picture of whatever they are, or simply leave your avatar and signature blank.[/ul][/size][/blockquote]
